Galilea Cisneros

As a nail technician and educator, Galilea’s love for the industry grows stronger every day. From humble beginnings...like many other nail techs she started by doing friends’ and fami-ly’s nails in the basement of her family home at just 14 years old, never imagining that some-thing she enjoyed so much could become a career.

At 15, she got a job at a local salon as an assistant. It was there that she was encouraged to attend nail school. After graduation and passing her state board, she began her career in a large, full-service hair salon located in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. As the newest of five nail technicians, she immersed herself in all the education and advanced training available, quickly growing both her skills and her clientele, and becoming one of the salon’s most re-quested and busiest techs.

In 2017, she got married and relocated to Texas, where she spent several years working in a natural nail-focused salon environment. There, she refined her technique even further and became certified in several product lines, strengthening her expertise in long-lasting, natural nail solutions.

As her career evolved, Galilea expanded her skill set into builder gel and hard gel applications, discovering a passion for structured nail enhancements that prioritize both strength and aesthetics. This led her to transition from a traditional salon setting into an independent nail artist, allowing her to specialize more intentionally and elevate the client experience.

In addition to her work behind the chair, Galilea has been recognized for her expertise in builder gel systems. As word spread and demand grew, she began teaching her techniques, with increasing requests for in-salon classes.

Today Galilea specializes in natural nails, structured nails and advanced gel systems. When she is not behind the chair, she shares her love for the industry by educating other nail techs in this fabulous profession.
